Is there a free trial?
Yes. Once access is approved, each firm can run one complete case of up to 100 pages for free, including reading, analysis, Ask CaseBuilder, a demand draft, a chronology, and the exhibits. No credit card required.
What happens after the free case?
Choose a plan to keep working. Plans start at $299 a month for up to 10 cases.
What counts as a case?
Each case counts once toward your plan’s monthly cases, however many questions, drafts, and new versions you work on in it. A case covers files of up to 1,000 pages; a larger file counts as one case for every 1,000 pages, so a 2,400-page file counts as three. CaseBuilder tells you before it reads.
What happens to cases I don’t use?
They carry over as long as your subscription is active. Unused cases from one month are added to the next, so a slower month doesn’t cost you cases. If your subscription ends, they’re kept for one year in case you reactivate.
Is there a limit on users?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users, so your whole team can work in CaseBuilder.
What if I need more cases than my plan includes?
Additional cases are $39 each. If you regularly need more, move to a larger plan or talk to us about Enterprise pricing.
Is Ask CaseBuilder really unlimited?
Yes. Ask as many questions as the case needs.
Is there an annual plan?
Yes. Pay annually and get 12 months for the price of 10: Solo is $2,990 a year, Small Firm $6,990, and Firm $19,990. Each month still includes your plan’s cases, and unused cases carry over while your subscription is active.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals. You can keep working until the end of your already-paid period. After that, your unused cases are kept for one year: reactivate within that year and they’re available again.
How can I pay?
Plans are billed monthly by card. Enterprise plans can also pay by monthly invoice via ACH or wire transfer.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. The Firm plan includes up to 120 cases a month. For higher volume, Enterprise pricing is tailored to your firm. Talk to us.
What determines a service quote?
The requested deliverable, document volume, and case complexity determine the quote. We confirm the scope and price with you before preparation begins.
Does platform access include human review?
Human-reviewed document preparation is offered through the separate 48-hour service. Platform analysis and drafts are reviewed by you.
When does the 48-hour service clock start?
The 48-hour turnaround is measured in consecutive hours, including weekends, starting when we receive the complete documentation for the agreed scope. We confirm the required documents and scope with you before work begins.
