Frequently asked questions
A little more clarity.
How the platform and our document preparation service fit into your practice.
What is CaseBuilder?
CaseBuilder is a platform for personal injury attorneys. It uses case documents and context to help assess where a case stands, suggest next steps, and prepare documents such as a pre-litigation demand. It also builds the exhibits, organizing them by date and provider so they are ready for submission.
Can I ask questions about my case?
Yes. Ask CaseBuilder answers questions from the case record only, and every point cites its source in the record. It marks what is documented, what is not in the record, and where the file contradicts itself, then suggests a next step. Questions are unlimited in every case.
What if the answer isn’t in the record?
CaseBuilder says so. Instead of filling the gap, it marks the point as not in the record, so you know what still needs to be obtained before relying on it.
Can I revise the demand?
Yes. Revise any section with suggestions drawn from the record or your own note, rewrite a single paragraph to make it firmer, shorter, plainer, or expanded with what the record shows, or edit the letter directly. Every paragraph keeps its sources, and the letter downloads in Word on your firm’s stationery.
What does Economics calculate?
For the policy limit and any offer, Economics shows what the attorney fee, case costs, and medical liens take, and what reaches the client. If the liens would leave the client short, it proposes a disbursement and the reduction to ask each provider to accept. It is arithmetic on your figures and the bills in the record, not a valuation of the case.
Does CaseBuilder decide what to do with my case?
You make the decisions. The platform provides AI-assisted analysis, suggestions, and drafts for your review. You verify the facts, choose the next step, and finalize the work.
Can your team prepare the documents for me?
Yes. Our 48-hour service uses AI-assisted workflows with human review to prepare pre-litigation demand letters, medical chronologies, and injury narratives. This is a separate service from using the platform yourself.
When does the 48-hour service clock start?
The 48-hour turnaround is measured in consecutive hours, including weekends, starting when we receive the complete documentation for the agreed scope. We confirm the required documents and scope with you before work begins.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Once access is approved, each firm can run one complete case of up to 100 pages for free, including reading, analysis, Ask CaseBuilder, a demand draft, a chronology, and the exhibits. No credit card required.
What happens after the free case?
Choose a plan to keep working. Plans start at $299 a month for up to 10 cases.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals. You can keep working until the end of your already-paid period. After that, your unused cases are kept for one year: reactivate within that year and they’re available again.
How much does the platform cost?
Plans are priced by the case: Solo is $299 a month for up to 10 cases, Small Firm is $699 for up to 30, and Firm is $1,999 for up to 120. Annual billing gives you 12 months for the price of 10. Enterprise pricing is tailored for thousands of cases. Users are unlimited, and unused cases carry over to the next month while your subscription is active. Every case includes up to 1,000 pages, case analysis, unlimited Ask CaseBuilder, demand drafts, a chronology, and the exhibits. Files over 1,000 pages count as one case for every 1,000 pages, and additional cases are $39 each. Human-reviewed document preparation is quoted separately.
How do I get platform access?
Request access using the short form. We will follow up to discuss your workflow and help you get started. Existing users can log in directly.
How should I share case documents?
Start with an access request or service inquiry. We will explain the appropriate document submission process. Please keep medical records, client details, and confidential case information out of the website inquiry forms.
